Assembly Fixtures

Motion Pac has built assembly fixtures for assembling a wide range of products. This has included handling: injection molded components, springs, screws, plugs, grommets, rivets, tape, stamped metal components, bumpers, clips and other components found in the manufacture of the automobile, furniture and other mass produced products.

These fixtures have ranged from simple, manually operated assembly aids up to sophisticated units with component sensing, gauging and self-diagnostic controls.

Check Fixtures

The company has experience in gauging and checking parts both as a separate operation and integrated with either new or existing equipment. This could range from the use of go-no go gauges or the integration of vision system, laser photocells or analogue position sensors for part measurement or component verification.

Secondary Production Fixtures

We have built secondary production fixtures for degating, drilling, routing, milling, tapping, cutting, finishing, hot air cold stake welding, heat staking or a combination of the above.

These have included fixtures for handling wood, injection molded components, compression molded components, metal stamping, painted components and most other materials found in the manufacture of automobiles, furniture and other mass produced products.

These fixtures have ranged from simple, manually operated units to fully automatic fixtures including component sensing and integrated quality control inspection.
